Income Calculation
The monthly income estimations are based on the standard wage outlined in the current collective bargaining agreement for couriers. An average value for additional payments (see explanations below) is included for higher income estimations. Actual income may exceed these figures.

The current hourly base wage is 139.10 DKK

↪ In addition to the base wage, benefits include a 8% flexible spending account and holiday pay. (The rate on the flexible spending account will increase to 9% by 1st of October 2024)
↪ All amounts listed are gross figures before deductions for taxes and social security contributions. The standard effective weekly working hours range from a minimum of eight hours up to 32 hours.

The following benefits are provided according to the terms of the current collective bargaining agreement for couriers in its current version:

Pension
After 12 months of employment you will receive a pension contribution of 9 % (own contribution 1.5 % and employer contribution 7.5%). The own contribution will be deducted form your salary and the employer contribution will be added on top of your salary. The 9 % in pension contribution will be
paid without tax to the pension fund PensionDanmark A/S.
By 1st of October 2024 the pension contribution will increase to 12% (Own contribution 2.0% and employer contribution 10%)

Tipping
It's possible to receive tipping from the customers when you deliver your orders. The tipping is paid out to you together with your salary each month and is not tax free.

Mileage allowance
If you utilise your own car for order deliveries, you may receive a tax-free allowance per kilometer, based on wear and tear. Specific rates follows the public rates which are regulated every year.
If you use you own bicycle/Scooter for order deliveries, you may receive a allowance of 10 DKK, which will be added to your hourly wage. This allowance is not tax free.

For example:
If you work 32 hours a week for us, use your own car, and have driven 500 km in a month, then you will receive 1895 DKK in tax-free mileage reimbursement i 2024.

Additionally, according to legal or collective bargaining agreement regulations, you will receive the following supplements:
For work between 6pm - 11pm: an additional 10.99 DKK will be added to your hourly wage.
For work between 11pm - 6am or on public holidays: an additional 21.98 DKK will be added to your hourly wage.
For extra shifts: an additional 5.00 DKK will be added to your hourly wage.

As for overtime work, for the first three hours of overtime per day, a supplement of 50% the normal hourly wage will be paid. For all subsequent hours, a supplement of 100% the normal hourly wage will be paid.
